The Festival of Literary Diversity is hosted April 28-May 5, 2024/ Events April 28- May 1 are held virtual in our innovated virtual festival platform. Events May 2-5 are held in downtown Brampton, On.
In May 2016, the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD) became the first festival devoted to celebrating underrepresented authors and storytellers in Canada. Nine years later, the festival –presented in Brampton, Ontario – continues to provide an important space for writers from marginalized and underrepresented communities to develop their craft and to discuss the challenges involved in creating stories that ask difficult questions, expose hard truths, and push literary boundaries.
